Founded in London by Alexandra Popa, Bordelle has profoundly transformed the world of couture lingerie by introducing an approach in which underwear becomes a veritable visual construct. From the outset, the brand has distinguished itself by its ability to blur the boundaries between a, lingerie harness, bodywear and ready-to-wear. The Bordelle aesthetic is based on instantly recognizable satin-finish elastic bands, graphic structures and 24-carat gold-plated accessories. This combination has become the house's signature and has established Bordelle as a benchmark for contemporary bondage couture. The collections include brass, of the bodysuits, playsuits and bodicess, of the thongss, of the open pantss, of the garter belts and waspies, as well as hybrid pieces such as open lingerie or lingerie accessories that can be integrated directly into an evening silhouette. Bordelle is also one of the first lingerie houses to have developed an advanced adjustment system that enables structured pieces to fit a wide range of body shapes, thanks to precise adjustments integrated directly into the construction.

The company has two main focuses: the collections Signature, have become iconic, and the seasonal collections, The new collections are an opportunity to explore new materials, colors and embroidery techniques. The Signature collections occupy a central place in the history of Bordelle. Designed around the brand's emblematic satin-finish elastics, they are continually enriched to enable customers to complete their ensembles over the years. Seasonal collections, such as Melusina, take the house's textile work a step further, with custom-embroidered tulles, plays on transparency and more experimental constructions. Bordelle is also developing a complete line of’bondage accessories and parts including jewelry, necklaces, nipple covers and styling elements designed in the aesthetic continuity of the lingerie collections.
